Heiress murder accused to be extradited to France - mirror.co.uk: "TANNING shop tycoon accused of battering his partner to death in Paris was yesterday ordered to be extradited to France.
A hunt took place to find Brit Ian Griffin, 41, after the battered body of Polish millionairess Kinga Legg, 36, was found by a maid at the £1,000-a-night Hotel Le Bristol. He was alleged to have fled in his Porsche.
Griffin was arrested in Cheshire in June last year. He did not appear at the City of Westminster magistrates’ court yesterday because he was in hospital with kidney problems. Two weeks ago he took an overdose of prescription drugs. The court heard how Griffin, who was declared bankrupt four years ago, had also tried to slash his wrists twice while in custody."
